Tuesday, October 11th - Phone bank tonight and tomorrow / Postcard Party Tonight / Rally for Jan 6 Committee

Actions You Can Take Today

Action 1: TONIGHT and Tomorrow: Phone bank for Lauren Underwood and Wisconsin

Election Day 2022 is fast approaching, and we need YOUR help! There are three opportunities to make phone calls to eligible voters from your own home. Sign up for a phone bank shift and make a difference next week!

Action 2: TONIGHT Postcard Party

We're back at Gideon Welles every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00pm, writing postcards to get our voters to the polls in November. We'll be starting with postcards to voters for the critical IL Supreme Court races before transitioning to some critical Congressional races.

If you can sign up in advance, it helps us let our GW hosts know how many people to expect but last-minute walk-ins are always welcome. Donations are welcome, either monetary or in the form of postcard stamps. We look forward to seeing you there!

Action 3: Rally in Support of Jan 6 Committee

Join us as we rally to demand January 6 justice with full accountability for former President Donald Trump and his MAGA allies.

Chicago is one of dozens of cities holding Jan. 6 Justice: Our Freedoms, Our Vote rallies, marches, and other events nationwide this week to demand accountability for Trump and his MAGA allies and to draw attention to the continued threat they pose to free and fair elections — this November and beyond.

Trump and MAGA Republicans engaged in a violent criminal conspiracy to overturn an election they lost. They knew their actions were illegal. They have shown they will break the law and engage in violence in order to gain and stay in power. They are continuing to undermine our freedoms and our democracy on every level. We’re drawing attention to the continued threat they pose to free and fair elections — this November and beyond. They must be held accountable.

WHERE: Chicago’s Federal Plaza, 219 S. Dearborn St.

WHEN: Monday, October 17, 5:30 p.m.

More details to come.

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
