Thursday, July 28 - Help Register Democrats / Chicago Budget Engagement Forum 7/30

Actions You Can Take Today

Action 1: Help Register Democrats from Home

Want to be an activist in the time it takes to shower? It's fun! It works!

To win in 2022, we need to register Democrats where they’ll make the most impact – in the most flippable states and districts, where small numbers of Democrats can swing elections up and down the ballot.

Field Team 6 helped register almost 1.7 million Democratic voters, the vast majority in Swing States... and now we need to do it again.

We will not give up until ALL Americans have access to the ballot box. Massive voter registration needs to happen before Midterm elections. Working together - we will make it happen!

Learn how to join Field Team 6 and register Democrats from home on Saturday, July 30 at noon (virtual event)

Action 2: Chicago Budget Engagement Forums

Budget season is approaching and the city is gearing up to host three Budget Engagement Forums this week and next where Chicago residents will be able to share their priorities regarding city services and programs for next year's budget. We want to flood the public comments and make sure the city hears us about how we do NOT want money going towards the police, and instead want services funded that actually address our communities' needs, such as Treatment Not Trauma.

Can you attend the forum on Saturday, July 30 at 10 am at Truman College and make your voice heard by signing up for public comment and/or filling out public comment cards?
