Action 1: TOMORROW - Oppose Anti-Abortionists Coming to Chicago
Having overturned Roe v. Wade by years of packing the Supreme Court, anti-abortion forces now aim to abolish abortion rights in every state.
On July 9th they will bring their crusade to Chicago’s Federal Plaza – they MUST be opposed!
Besides wanting to outlaw abortion nationwide, they are against reproductive rights in general – contraception, quality sex education, accessible childcare, the ability to raise children without crushing economic burdens. It’s no accident that anti-abortion states provide the worst levels of services to young parents and guardians and have the highest maternal mortality rates.
They want to abolish all LGBTQ rights and most stridently oppose the Black Lives Matter movement and immigrant rights. In short, their anti-abortion agenda has nothing to do with promoting “life.”
Please join a protest AGAINST the anti-abortionists and their crusade to take away our rights TOMORROW, Saturday, July 9 at 1:30 p.m across the street from Federal Plaza at the corner of Adams & Dearborn Streets.
