Friday, March 31 - Brandon Johnson Rally TOMORROW / Support Abortion Care in IL

Action You Can Take Today

Action 1: Brandon Johnson Rally TOMORROW

The time is now to end the parade of Mayors who put corporate interests ahead of people, protected failed policing policies, and perpetuated a city that works best for its wealthiest residents.

Brandon Johnson stands alone in this race as a leader whose progressive policies will create opportunities and a Chicago that works for us all. This is why the Indivisible Chicago Alliance Council has voted unanimously to endorse Brandon Johnson for Mayor.

His opponent, Paul Vallas, would trample civil rights with failed policing strategies, has a catastrophic record of mismanagement that runs educational systems into the ground, and is backed by right-wing extremists. He is a dangerous choice for Chicago.

It’s the last weekend before the election on Tuesday, April 4. Join a big South Side rally for Brandon Johnson on Saturday, April 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5336 S State St!

You can also help boost voter turnout for Brandon Johnson by joining phone banks, canvassing, and other activities before Tuesday! Wear your Indivisible gear and look for our Indivisible leaders who will be there to support your work.

Early voting is happening NOW! Find all election info here and make sure to tell your friends and family to vote Johnson!

Action 2: URGENT - Support SB1909

Pro-choice advocates in Illinois need your help to take swift and decisive action to support Illinois Senate Bill 1909.

If passed, SB1909 will amend the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act to include a section that specifically addresses deceptive practices by "limited services pregnancy centers," or anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs).

The bill is scheduled for a vote TODAY, so use these tools to contact your legislators now!
