TOMORROW - Write Letters to Virginia

This fall, every single seat in the Virginia General Assembly will be up for election. In 2021, Republicans flipped the House of Delegates and elected GOP Governor Glenn Youngkin, leaving only the Virginia State Senate in Democratic hands. Virginians have the opportunity to hold the State Senate and flip the House of Delegates this year, allowing the General Assembly to continue serving as a critical check against Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s extremist agenda.

Join Swing Left Chicago on Tuesday, August 29 to write letters to Virginia from 7 to 9. p.m. at Pilot Project in Logan Square (2140 N. Milwaukee). Please RSVP here so we know how many awesome volunteers to expect.

We provide the letters--all you need to do is write personal messages to your fellow voters about why you always vote. We hope you will consider donating stamps or a few dollars to offset mailing costs but no donation is required to participate. We do ask that when you join us in person you buy something to eat or drink to thank our kind hosts at Pilot Project (and please tip the servers!). Outside seating is available when weather permits.
