Action 1: Blue Thursday Political Happy Hour 9/21
Join us at the Hideout, the coolest bar in town, for our monthly political mixer: the crowd will be smart, the bar will be open, and the gossip will be juicy.
Our special guest this month is the former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti. You've seen him on CNN and MSNBC. You're read him in Politico Magazine. You've heard his podcast It's Complicated. Come meet him and hear the latest on the legal entanglements of our Previous President and his cabal of accomplices and acolytes. Bar opens at 5, program starts at 6. Free and open to all, but please RSVP here.

Action 2: Do Better, Durbin!
Thanks to your feedback, the Indivisible digital team has developed a tool to track emails sent to Durbin's office about court advocacy issues. You let us know that emails are an important way that activists want to contact Durbin's office and you recognized the importance of being able to track how many times Durbin is being contacted about these issues.
Use this form to contact Senator Durbin's office directly. PLEASE NOTE: we have provided sample text, but it is important to edit it so that this is a customized letter, directly from you!
We’re partnering across the movement in asking you to sign on to this letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Dick Durbin, urging them to address instances of blatant SCOTUS corruption. In short, the Senate has no choice but to subpoena Justices Thomas, Alito, and their billionaire benefactors as well as launch a full-scale investigation in the Senate Judiciary Committee, and other relevant committees, into the ethical crisis engulfing the Supreme Court. Please sign the letter and share it with your networks of like-minded constituents. The deadline to sign on is September 28.
