Action 1: TOMORROW - Jan 6 Social Media Storm

Indivisible Illinois, Indivisible Chicago Alliance, Truth Brigade Illinois, Indivisible Evanston, NWSOFA, Indivisible DuPage, and other groups are co-hosting a social media storm to commemorate the third anniversary of Trump’s January 6th insurrection at the capital. Never let them forget!

We will be posting and sharing appropriate messages on social media. A tool kit will be provided. We will work together in a zoom room for two hours starting at 10 a.m. this Saturday, January 6, but you are free to come and go as you wish. Please join us and RSVP here!

Want to show up in person? Join Indivisible Western Lake County (IWLC) on Saturday for a peaceful sidewalk rally in Lake Villa, IL. Speakers Lake County Clerk Anthony Vega, Anton Mathews & Esiah Campos will talk about the importance of voting and why the 2024 election is the most important of our lives! Or, join Indivisible Naperville’s Defending Democracy rally in Naperville on Saturday. Speakers will include Congressman Sean Casten; nationally known legal analyst, Renato Mariotti; DuPage County Circuit Court Judge, Jennifer Barron: and DuPage County Board of Health Commissioner, candidate for the DuPage County Board and new U.S. citizen in 2017, Saba Haider.

Action 2: Trans Rights Webinar 1/9

Indivisible Evanston and Indivisible Naperville present a webinar on trans rights, gender affirming care and the dark money influences behind the attacks on the trans and LGBTQ+ community. Speakers will include Dane Menkin, Nurse Practitioner and Director of LGBTQ Services; Naiymah Sanchez, Trans Rights Advocate and Educator - ACLU of Pennsylvania; Aisha Davis, Senior Policy Counsel, ACLU Illinois. Co-sponsored by Indivisible Illinois.
