Wednesday, October 16 - Make a Plan to Vote Early / WI & MI Canvassing

Actions You Can Take

Action 1: Early Voting is ON in Chicago! VOTE!

The most crucial election of our lifetime has already begun. This is your chance to vote for candidates up and down the ballot who reflect our values and push for the change we need. What’s your voting plan?

Voting early not only helps you avoid the rush, but it also gives you more time to get volunteer to get out the vote. Let’s get out there, vote early, and dedicate our time to volunteering for progressive candidates who will fight for justice and equality. Together, we can create the Chicago we envision!

Action 2: Canvassing in WI & MI

As the election approaches, swing states are where our efforts can make the biggest impact. Canvassing in these areas helps us connect directly with voters, address their concerns, and inspire action. Every conversation counts and can spark real change. Let’s mobilize and ensure our voices resonate across two crucial states: Michigan and Wisconsin.

Michigan

Come and join Indivisible Chicago knocking doors in the critical swing state of Michigan as we work to maintain the Midwest Blue Wall and defeat Trump.

We'll make the 90-minute drive from Chicago to where we’re headed in Michigan. We’ll have a pre-canvass briefing once we get there, then split off into pairs to knock doors and find the voters that are going to help us deliver a win in November.

We'll provide all the info and prep you'll need and will have carpools for anyone needing a ride. Sign up today for upcoming canvass sessions on 10/20, 10/25, and 11/1.

Wisconsin

Next week in Wisconsin we have a two-fer. We'll be partnering with the Wisconsin Working Families Party and canvassing for Harris-Walz and for LuAnn Bird, who is running to defeat a radical Republican in the State Assembly. LuAnn can win due to the remapping ordered by the state supreme court. (Did you attend our Rally2Win? Then you met LuAnn on stage.)

We will be canvassing just south of Milwaukee (exact location coming soon). We’ll have a pre-canvass briefing once we get there, then split off into pairs to knock doors and find the voters that are going to help us deliver a win in November. Sign up to canvass on Saturday, October 26.

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
