Action 1: Volunteer as a WI Poll Observer
Poll observers are the eyes and ears for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s Voter Protection Team inside polling locations across the state, and are the last line of defense against instances of voter suppression. Poll observers are the first to report any issues that arise (like long lines, machine problems, or voters being turned away unnecessarily), and will act as a resource for voters who may need assistance. You do NOT need any previous experience or legal background to be a poll observer, and you do not need to be a Wisconsin resident!
Poll Observer Training will be required. As election law in Wisconsin changes, it is important that we are able to get returning poll observers up to speed on changes to the law and train all of our new volunteers! Training is held on Zoom and lasts 90 minutes. There are multiple training options held THIS WEEEK between March 12th-18th, and you only need to attend once.
Being a poll observer is a big commitment, and our staff will be there to support you through the whole process! Please only fill out this official signup form if you are ready to commit to being a poll observer on April 2nd. Once you fill out this form, our team is counting on you to be there helping us protect voters. Save the date for Tuesday April 2nd on your calendar now!

We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
