Monday, March 18 - Volunteer on Election Day / MI Phone and Text Banks
Actions You Can Take
Action 1: The primary election is TOMORROW but it’s not too late to volunteer
Action 2: Michigan phone banks and text banks TODAY and following Mondays
Action 1: Volunteer on Election Day
The Bring Chicago Home referendum is still on the ballot and we need to get the word to voters that they can still VOTE YES on BCH and a fairer future. The measure would lower the transaction tax on most properties while raising it for properties sold for more than $1 million to create a fund to meaningfully address homelessness in our city.
We’re also supporting an inspiring State Senate candidate in the 20th District, Graciela Guzman, a community activist who has spearheaded policy campaigns on healthcare, economic justice, child welfare and immigration. Her primary opponent, appointed by party ward bosses, is well-funded by entrenched interests opposed to progressive leaders like Graciela.
Indivisible Chicago is also supporting the Kina Collins campaign for the 7th district Congressional seat now held by Danny Davis, and they are in need of volunteers on Election day to do voter contact and also to give rides to the polls and poll watch.
Already, Indivisible Chicago activists have made thousands of phone calls to support BCH and knocked doors to spread the word about both the ballot referendum and Graciela. Join us to get BCH, Kina Collins, and Graciela Guzman over the finish line.

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
