Celebrating a very good year—and revving up for 2024

On the first Saturday of December, leaders of Indivisible Chicago gathered in person to catch up, reconnect, and celebrate an extraordinary year. After electing Joe Biden in 2020, and turning back the mythical “red wave” in the 2022 midterms, we helped this year to flip Wisconsin’s Supreme Court from red to blue and put abortion rights in the Ohio constitution. Some of us also helped Virginia Democrats take control of their state legislature and thwart their governor’s campaign for a 15-week abortion ban. A lot to celebrate! As part of the festivities we watched video messages from some of the friends and allies we’ve had the privilege of working with.
