ICA Action: New Date for Indivisible Chicago Immigration Briefs in February
Since, the Trump administration announced an immigration enforcement blitz in Chicago, there has been confirmed activity by federal agents in many neighborhoods across the area.
This is a frightening time for directly impacted communities in Chicago, and it’s important that everyone understands how to respond. To help as allies in the fight to protect our immigrant neighbors, Indivisible Chicago is hosting an event aimed at providing Indivisible Chicago members with the knowledge needed to respond appropriately in this moment.
👉 Join us Monday, February 3rd in the Lakeview neighborhood or for a virtual session on Wednesday, February 5th or Monday, February 10th for a discussion on immigration history, threats, and potential impact on vulnerable communities across the greater Chicagoland area and beyond, and how we as allies can take action in this moment. Agenda items will include "Know Your Rights" overview, advocacy at the state and city level, and Rapid Response.
ICA Action: WI Postcard Parties in Lincoln Square
Sign up to write and stamp postcards to protect Wisconsin’s Liberal Supreme Court Majority on April 1st! Your efforts helped Justice Janet Protasiewicz win, and now we need your support for Susan Crawford to secure a seat on the WI Supreme Court.
Wisconsin’s Supreme Court is a crucial battleground. Judge Crawford is running to replace retiring Justice Ann Walsh Bradley. A win for Crawford keeps the court’s 4-3 liberal majority intact, while a loss to MAGA-backed Brad Schimel could flip the court conservative for the next decade.
Abortion access, voting rights, legislative maps, and collective bargaining rights are all at stake. Join us at Gideon Welles in February and March to write postcards to Wisconsin voters—we'll provide everything you need! Bring stamps or a contribution if you can.
Can’t stay? Choose our Pick-up and Go option: stop by Gideon Welles from 6:00-8:00 PM to grab your postcards, scripts, and addresses to write at home. Get more info here.
