Monday, February 3 - Immigration Brief TODAY / Oppose RFK Jr.

ICA Action: Immigration Brief TODAY + 2 More Events

Since, the Trump administration announced an immigration enforcement blitz in Chicago, there has been confirmed activity by federal agents in many neighborhoods across the area.

This is a frightening  time for directly impacted communities in Chicago, and it’s important that everyone understands how to respond. To help as allies in the fight to protect our immigrant neighbors, Indivisible Chicago is hosting an event aimed at providing Indivisible Chicago members with the knowledge needed to respond appropriately in this moment.

πŸ‘‰ Join us TONIGHT, Monday, February 3rd in the Lakeview neighborhood or for a virtual session on Wednesday, February 5th or Monday, February 10th for a discussion on immigration history, threats, and potential impact on vulnerable communities across the greater Chicagoland area and beyond, and how we as allies can take action in this moment. Agenda items will include "Know Your Rights" overview, advocacy at the state and city level, and Rapid Response.

ICA Action: Oppose the Nomination of RFK Jr.

Time to gather our forces to fight the nomination of RFK Jr. to run Health and Human Services β€” because more people will get sick and more people will die under his leadership.

Let's thank Senator Dick Durbin for his strong statement against RFK Jr and asking him to whip the vote against this nomination.

At the same time, we are asking Senator Tammy Duckworth to vote No and speak out against him.

πŸ‘‰ Use our form to send a message to both of our senators.

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
