Partner Action: Equality for Every Family Act

At a time when the federal administration is attacking LGBTQ+ families, Illinois laws have not kept pace to ensure equality and protection for our state’s diverse families. That’s why the Equality for Every Family Act is critical.

The legislation will update our state’s laws to clarify who can be a parent and how to establish parentage. This legislation:

• Clarifies parentage for children born through assisted reproduction

• Sets clear standards for surrogacy

• Promotes equality for LGBTQ+ families in establishing parentage

• And more!

ICA Action: Wisconsin Supreme Court Canvassing

Come knock doors with us in Milwaukee every Saturday to help ensure we win the critical April 1 Wisconsin Supreme Court race. Judge Susan Crawford is facing Scott Walker’s former Attorney General, Brad Schimel, to fill an open seat on the Court. Protection of fair legislative maps, abortion rights and democracy are at stake. It is critical that Susan Crawford wins so that pro-democracy judges maintain their 4-3 majority.
