Michigan Monday Phone Bank - October 17, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM (virtual event). n the critical battleground state of Michigan, we need to re-elect Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Attorney General Dana Nessel, and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson to protect our freedoms, especially reproductive rights, against the far-right extremist candidates nominated by Republicans. But we also need to win in the U.S. House where we can't afford to lose a single race! Come join us in making calls to voters every Monday for Gov. Whitmer and Democratic candidates in Michigan's tossup Congressional races.
Tuesday Phone Bank for Lauren Underwood - October 18, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM (virtual event). We backed Lauren Underwood in her first run for Congress, in 2018, and since then she has been making us proud and impressing her constituents. But her district has been redrawn to include many voters who are not familiar with her accomplishments. And the the Rs will be coming after her this fall with all the dark money and name-calling they can muster.
Tuesday night postcard parties at Gideon Wells - October 18, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at Gideon Welles (4500 N Lincoln Ave). We'll be starting with postcards to voters for the critical IL Supreme Court races before transitioning to some critical Congressional races. Donations are welcome, either monetary or in the form of postcard stamps. Come join the fun while helping save democracy!
Tuesday Wisconsin Voter Registration Program Calls - October 18, 2-4 PM (virtual event). We are mailing an application and motivational instructional flyer to targets we've determined are key unregistered voters, and then texting and calling those targets to encourage them to complete their registration. With these multiple forms of outreach to unregistered targets like people who moved into or around the state, we helped thousands of voters register in 2020.
Wisconsin Wednesday Phone Bank - October 19, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM (virtual event). To win in 2022 we need to win in Wisconsin: to defeat Ron Johnson, prevent Republican election chicanery, and undo the most egregious gerrymandering in the country. That's why we're phone banking with the WisDems. Join us!
Wisconsin Canvass Saturday - October 22, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Come canvass with us! This canvass will be in southeastern Wisc. less than 90 minutes from downtown Chicago. We will arrange carpools and partner another canvasser with you so you will be confident to do your part in this effort.
