Actions You Can Take This Week

Action 1: TONIGHT - Phone Bank for Lauren Underwood

We backed Lauren Underwood in her first run for Congress, in 2018, and since then she has been making us proud and impressing her constituents. But her district has been redrawn to include many voters who are not familiar with her accomplishments. And the the Rs will be coming after her this fall with all the dark money and name-calling they can muster. Help us get her story out in our weekly phone bank.

Join us for a virtual phone bank TONIGHT, October 18, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Action 2: TONIGHT - Postcard Party

We're back at Gideon Welles every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00pm, writing postcards to get our voters to the polls in November! If you can sign up in advance, it helps us let our GW hosts know how many people to expect but last minute walk-ins are always welcome.

We'll be starting with postcards to voters for the critical IL Supreme Court races before transitioning to some critical Congressional races. Donations are welcome, either monetary or in the form of postcard stamps. Come join the fun while helping save democracy!

Join the postcard party TONIGHT, October 18, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at Gideon Welles (4500 N Lincoln Ave)

Action 3: TOMORROW - Wisconsin Phone Bank

To win in 2022 we need to win in Wisconsin: to defeat Ron Johnson, prevent Republican election chicanery, and undo the most egregious gerrymandering in the country. That’s why we've teamed up with WisDems to re-elect Governor Tony Evers--Wisconsin's last defense against Republican election treachery. Our careful training and extensive background resources attract volunteers from all over the country. Time is running out before Election Day, and we need all the help we can get to win Wisconsin!

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
