Support Home Visiting Investments

Earlier this month, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Jackie Walorski Maternal and Child Home Visiting Reauthorization Act (H.R. 8876) with strong bipartisan support and a clear, collective recognition of the importance of home visiting programs.

Before the 117th Congress draws to a close and critical home visiting funds expire on December 16, ask the Senate to include Maternal, Infant, Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) reauthorization in its final year-end funding package. The reauthorization and expansion of this important funding stream will enable states, territories, and tribal entities to continue to develop and implement evidence-based, voluntary home visiting programs among their communities.

Call your Senators to encourage them to take action now to ensure that MIECHV-funded programs continue for the nearly 150,000 families and young children in the U.S who rely on them.
