The once unthinkable is upon us: someone leaked a draft Supreme Court decision that would overturn Roe v. Wade and throw us at the mercy of the states when it comes to legal abortion access. Thanks to our hard work and dedicated activism, Illinois citizens' reproductive rights are protected - for now. But we must mobilize in support of safe, legal abortion for every American who needs one. Abortion is health care, and health care is a right!

The Chicago Abortion Fund provides financial, logistical, and emotional support to people seeking abortion care in Chicago, in Illinois, and across the Midwest. In 2020, 63% of its grantees came from out-of-state. They continue to see a majority of callers based outside of Illinois. They support people receiving care in Illinois from all 50 states and will support anyone who calls with funding or a connection with their local abortion fund.
