Friday, March 24 - WI Text Party (3/30) / Demystifying Chicago City Council (4/18)

Action You Can Take Today

Action 1: WI Text Party on 3/30

Wisconsin has an absolutely essential election coming up on April 4th that many voters haven’t heard about. Conservatives currently control the state's supreme court by a 4-3 majority, but with the conservative Chief Justice retiring, we have the opportunity to flip the court and make real progress for Wisconsinites. Conservatives on the state Supreme Court have handed down some of the most damaging voting rights decisions nationwide just in the past year (anyone remember ballot drop boxes or the abandonment of fair maps?).  And WI has a strict abortion ban that dates from 1849!

Sign up to support Janet Protasiewicz for WI Supreme Court in a two-hour Text Party on Thursday, March 30, from 6-8pm hosted by Laura Tanner and Kitty Knecht of Indivisible Chicago Alliance and Indivisible Evanston.  NOTE: You will need to create a TextOut account, if you don't have one currently, before the day of the text party.
