Friday, July 26 - Rally for Sonya Massey TOMORROW / Michigan Canvass 8/4

Actions You Can Take

Action 1: TOMORROW - Rally for Sonya Massey

On July 6, Sonya Massey was brutally murdered in her own home by officer Sean Grayson after calling the police for help. Enough is enough. The epidemic of police violence in America must end.

The Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression is holding an emergency rally tomorrow, Saturday, July 27, to demand justice for Sonya Massey, Samuel Sharpe Jr, D'vontaye Mitchell, and all those murdered by police. Join us in calling on Congress to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act Immediately!

Get more details about Saturday’s rally and read a statement by Frank Chapman, Executive Director of NAARPR.

Action 2: Michigan Canvass 8/4

Come and join Indivisible Chicago knocking doors on Saturday, August 4 in the critical swing state of Michigan as we work to maintain the Midwest Blue Wall and defeat Trump.

We'll make the 90-minute drive from Chicago to where we’re headed in Michigan. We’ll have a pre-canvass briefing once we get there, then split off into pairs to knock doors and find the voters that are going to help us deliver a win in November.

We'll provide all the info and prep you'll need and will have carpools for anyone needing a ride. Sign up today for one or both shifts. Let's go talk to some voters!

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
