Text messaging is a great way to reach voters directly on their cell phones. And you don’t need to use your own phone to do it. Using texting software on your computer, you’ll be helping voters with their registration, voting by mail, polling places, and more. These texting programs require a modicum of tech ability, but don’t let that worry you. We offer training and support so anyone who wants to participate can learn how.
In 2020, the Indivisible Chicago Texting Team sent a total of 1.5M texts to voters throughout Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. We’re ready to do it again for these critical midterms.
