ICA Action: Keep Up the Pressure to Shut it Down
In the early days of Trump’s presidency, many Democrats have engaged in bi-partisanship, supporting his anti-immigrant bill and nominees while staying silent on his racist, homophobic, transphobic, and xenophobic Executive Orders. Now, with Trump’s Executive Order shutting down federal loans and grants and Elon Musk gaining illegal access to the Treasury Department, we are witnessing a significant power grab.
Good news! Our pressure campaign is working—Senator Duckworth has committed to voting "no" on all Trump nominees. Now’s a great time to thank her for standing strong! However, Senator Durbin has not yet made that commitment. We need to demand that he follow suit.
👉 Use this form to send an email thanking Senator Duckworth for standing up to Trump, and one urging Senator Durbin to vote “no” on Trump’s nominees.
Partner Action: WI Voter Protection Recruitment Phonebank
Help protect the vote in Wisconsin by recruiting poll observers for the April 2025 Spring Election! Poll observers are our eyes and ears at polling locations, and we need your help to recruit them so that voters can safely and easily cast their ballots this spring.
All you need is your phone and a computer (laptop or desktop, not a tablet). Training is offered at every phonebank on Google Meet, and we provide the script!
👉 Sign up to recruit voter protection volunteers every Monday and Thursday
