ICA Action: Demand a Town Hall from Members of Congress

Last week, Hakeem Jeffries urged his members to hold town halls to listen to constituents during these challenging times. At Indivisible Chicago, we support this initiative, but we want to make sure it happens.

Send a letter to your members of Congress demanding they hold town halls to hear our concerns. We need them to speak out daily against the actions of Trump and Elon Musk, who are violating the Constitution and harming families. If they don’t act, Congress risks losing its ability to check Trump’s power.

👉 Use this form to send your letter, and feel free to personalize it. Share your story about what you fear most from their actions!

Partner Action: Families Over Billionaires Text Bank 2/13

Last week’s Protect Our Care - Hands Off Medicaid Day of Action was powerful, with over 500 advocates rallying for healthcare! We heard from Congressman Jonathan Jackson, State Senator Graciela Guzman, and local leaders about protecting Medicaid and the importance of storytelling in our fight for change.

Now, let’s keep that momentum going! Join us on Thursday, February 13th at 12:00 PM for the Families Over Billionaires Text Bank. We’ll engage communities across Illinois to build support for a federal budget that prioritizes working families.

ICA & Partner Action: Protest Elimination of Gender-Affirming Care 2/15

Join us on Saturday, February 15th at Lurie Children’s Hospital to protest the harmful elimination of life-saving, trans-affirming care and the hateful Executive Orders targeting our transgender youth.

This is our stand against unjust policies and a call to ensure all trans individuals have access to critical healthcare. Your presence matters—together, we will amplify our voices and demand respect and protection for trans rights.

👉 Join the rally on Saturday, February 15th at 1 PM at Seneca Park, outside Lurie Children’s Hospital.

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
