Wednesday, July 24 - Rally to End Pretextual Traffic Stops / Send Texts to Michigan Voters

Actions You Can Take

Action 1: Rally to End Pretextual Traffic Stops

Join us in making the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability (CCPSA) the voice of the people! Community members directly impacted by pretextual traffic stops and tactical teams are submitting signatures urging commissioners to vote YES on holding a community driven traffic stop hearing. We demand an end to the racist tools of police tyranny in Chicago.

Date: Thursday, July 25

Press Conference & Rally Time: 6:00pm

Meeting Time: 6:30pm

Location: Malcom X College, 1900 W Jackson Blvd, Room 110

Action 2: Send Texts to Michigan Voters

Come join us as we send texts to Michigan voters from our computers. Text messaging is a great way to reach voters directly on their cell phones. You’ll be helping them with voting by mail, finding their polling place, and more.

We make text banking easy by being with you every step of the way. Our text banks begin with a Zoom orientation hosted by Indivisible Chicago Alliance text team leaders and end with the opportunity to debrief and compare notes. Your leaders are available online throughout the session to solve problems and answer questions.

Send texts to Michigan voters every Monday and Thursday.

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
