Action 1: Write Postcards to Swing States

Sign up to write postcards to swing states. Indivisible Evanston is currently distributing postcards, addresses, and scripts for the Postcards to Swing States campaign - writing postcards to Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina to be mailed October 24th.

We provide the postcards and instructions. You write the cards and supply the stamps. There are two pick-up locations in Evanston, two in the Northern suburbs, and one in East Rogers Park. There are still plenty of postcard packets available!

Action 2: Swing Left Volunteer Orientation TOMORROW

Join Swing Left as we take on MAGA extremism—and win—in 2024, and beyond! During our 30-minute orientation, we’ll share the most effective volunteer and donation options, when and where you can make the biggest impact now and for the long term to help Democrats win.

We do the work to find the most competitive races where the outcomes will impact the balance of power at the state and national level, and we make it easy for you to get involved year round. are a powerful, tested community, but we’re only strong enough to make change if we all pitch in together.

Extremism has taken root and is now thriving in the Republican Party. This emboldened GOP is attacking democracy itself—designing extreme legislative gerrymanders, rigging the courts, attempting to subvert election results, and stripping away the democratic voice of the people—in order to lock in permanent minority rule.

But finding the right way to get involved to defeat the radical right is complicated. Swing Left cuts through the noise and helps you invest your valuable time and money in the most competitive elections in support of Democratic candidates.

Sign up for a 30-minute volunteer orientation every Wednesday!
