Wednesday, January 8 - Continue the Fight 1/25 / Indivisible Chicago Community Gatherings

Actions You Can Take

Action 1: Continue the Fight on January 25

In January of 2017, Indivisible Chicago formed to begin the fight against the Trump administration and his policies of hate and division. We fought to save the ACA. We fought to stop family separation. We fought to protect our democracy.

In 2018, we helped to take back the U.S. House and in 2020 to win back the White House and begin doing the work to advance our progressive principles.

And now, with Trump’s return, we are ready to continue the fight. We will fight for immigrant rights, for LGBTQ+ rights, and for the very fundamentals of our democracy.

We can't win this fight without YOU.

The Trump administration and the moneyed interests driving his policies are working to move our country towards an authoritarian regime. Authoritarianism requires us to give up hope, to isolate, and to cede our power. Only by joining together in community and embracing our collective power can we resist the attacks from the right and defend the most vulnerable of our neighbors.

Join Indivisible Chicago and other grassroots groups working to defend those directly impacted by the MAGA agenda in discussing how we continue the fight, both locally on the ground and nationally.

Continue the Fight—RSVP here
Saturday, January 25th, 1pm-4pm

Action 2: Indivisible Chicago Community Gatherings

At this moment, we want to come together to discuss the impact from the election, deepen our bonds for the challenges ahead, and orient ourselves to taking strategic action in the new year. We know that the action that we will take in 2025 will need to be different than in 2017-20, and we want to strategize together.

Join at an upcoming community gathering to help us build resilient communities that can organize. Because there's so much worth fighting for.

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
