Thursday, October 22 - MI Canvasses All Weekend / WI Voting Machine Testing Observation / WI Campus Poll Observers
ICA Action: MI Canvasses All Weekend
It's the final weekends before the midterms! Come and join Indivisible Chicago talking to voters in the critical swing state of Michigan.
We'll listen to voters, talk about our candidates and underline the importance of voting in this year's Midterms elections.
We'll make the 90-minute drive from Chicago to where we’re headed in Michigan. After a pre-canvass briefing, we'll split off into pairs to knock doors and talk with voters.
We'll provide all the info and prep you'll need and will have carpools for anyone needing a ride.

Partner Action: WI Voting Machine Testing Observation
Starting October 24th, municipal clerks across Wisconsin conduct statutory public logic and accuracy tests on all voting equipment to verify they are ready before any ballots are cast. Observers attend these open sessions to watch the testing and take factual notes. Being in the room is a unique way to get involved: it provides actionable information for our voter protection team and you gain a deep, practical understanding of your local election system!

Partner Action: WI Campus Poll Observer Program
On November 3rd, voters across Wisconsin will cast their ballots in important state and federal races including for governor and US Congress. The Wisco Project is working to empower the 300,000+ college voters statewide to make their voices heard in this important election.
We need dedicated volunteers like you to serve as poll observers on Election Day (11/3) to help protect student voters across Wisconsin. This volunteer opportunity is entirely nonpartisan. No experience is necessary— just a willingness to help protect the rights of student voters. We will give our volunteers a comprehensive virtual training and provide all of the supplies.
