ICA Action: Indivisible Chicago Sing-Along 3/2
Join us for another fun evening of resistance singing! We are trying out some songs that we might sing at upcoming events and we want your feedback. What songs are the most inspiring, uplifting, meaningful, or maybe just fun?
We want everyone, especially including folks who don't sing regularly, because we want our songs to be as inclusive as possible. Please come a little early and allow plenty of time for parking if you are driving. Doors open at 6:30 and singing is at 7 pm.

Want to do even more singing with your progressive neighbors? Join a singing session with Singing Resistance Chicago on Sunday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at the Logan Square Monument.
Partner Action: Fight School Vouchers
It's time to protect public schools and fight school vouchers in Illinois!
👉 Please call your state senator and ask them to sign on as a co-sponsor to SB 3966, Sen Graciela Guzman's bill prohibiting Illinois from participating in the federal voucher program.
You can also mention that you want them to oppose Sen Adriane Johnson's SB 3776, which would opt Illinois into the fed voucher program. (No Dem bills in the House yet that we've seen.)

Partner Action: Fight People’s Gas Rate Hike
On March 3rd, the Chicago City Council Committee on Environmental Protection and Energy is holding a meeting regarding the Peoples Gas rate hike announced at the beginning of this year.
We are hoping to show the city council and Peoples Gas the level of support we have among Chicagoans to fight this rate hike by filling the meeting room and having plenty of people give public comment. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the issue, show your support for prioritizing safety without breaking the bank, and provide a public comment on how this issue affects you and your community.
👉 RSVP for Peoples Gas City Council hearing on March 3rd at 11am at City Hal (Room 201A) and let us know on the form if you're interested in giving public comment!
