Partner Action: AT&T Corporate Speakout 11/16

AT&T has a multi-year, multimillion dollar contract with ICE. This enables ICE and CBP to terrorize our communities by using AT&T's communications systems and equipment to target, detain and disappear people. AT&T is profiting from these contracts with those agencies!

Partner Action: Extend the Affordable Care Act Premium Tax Credits 

Despite extremely high public support for extending Affordable Care Act subsidies, the legislative deal to end the government shutdown does not include any provisions to sustain ACA tax credits. Republicans are also now seeking to add new abortion restrictions and other policy changes to any extension agreement.

👉 Congress must act immediately to preserve affordable health insurance for millions before costs skyrocket at the end of year.

ICA Partner Action: High School Freedom to Write Teen Event 11/20

Calling all teens! Come advocate for free speech in schools by joining us for letter writing and flyer decorating event! We will be writing to congressional representatives to promote the protection of free speech on campuses and the right to learn our history. There will be stickers for fun flyer decorating and lots of snacks. 

👉 Join this event for teens on Thursday, November 20 from 6 – 8pm at Honey Butter Fried Chicken (3361 N Elston Ave).
