Indivisible Action: Tell the Senate to Lower Healthcare Costs
Health insurance premiums are doubling for more than 22 million Americans, and up to six-million people have already, or will soon, lose coverage because Republicans made Affordable Care Act tax credits expired on December 31. In the House, Democrats and a handful of Republicans forced a successful vote on restoring the tax credits β now the Senate must act before itβs too late!
Passing the House bill would restore the ACA tax credits for the next three years and halt catastrophic price hikes, but Republicans are trying to insert a backdoor ban on abortion coverage and add other restrictions so less people can qualify for premium assistance. No one should have to lose their healthcare because Republicans insist on nickel and diming families while showering tax breaks on billionaires.
π Tell Senators you expect them to vote YES on the House bill to restore the ACA tax credits.

ICA Action: Indivisible Chicago Sing-Along 1/26
Join us for a fun evening of socializing and resistance singing! We are trying out some songs that we might sing at upcoming events and we want your feedback. What songs are the most inspiring, uplifting, meaningful, or maybe just fun? We want everyone, especially including folks who don't sing regularly, because we want our songs to be as inclusive as possible.
While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
