ICA Action: Canvass in Michigan 8/2
Come and join Indivisible Chicago talking to voters in the critical swing state of Michigan.
Our early canvasses focus on listening to what is on voters' minds, which will help inform the candidates and campaigns we'll be helping to win in November.
We'll make the 90-minute drive from Chicago to where we’re headed in Michigan. We’ll have a pre-canvass briefing once we get there, then split off into pairs to knock doors and talk with voters.
We'll provide all the info and prep you'll need and will have carpools for anyone needing a ride.

Join Indivisible Illinois for a virtual panel exploring neurodiversity, the experiences of neurodivergent communities, and how activists, allies, and policymakers can work together to build a more inclusive society.
Our panelists will discuss meaningful allyship, barriers to civic participation, public policy priorities, and the importance of investing in education, employment, healthcare, and community supports. We'll also explore practical ways advocates can help ensure neurodivergent voices are heard and represented in our communities.
Whether you're new to the topic or looking to become a stronger ally, you'll leave with a better understanding of neurodiversity and concrete actions you can take to help create more inclusive communities for everyone.

Join us as we call voters living in swing districts that are crucial for winning back power in the Midterms this November. We’ll be using an innovative approach developed by our friends at Swing Left called Ground Truth that focuses on having deep, meaningful conversations with voters. With Ground Truth we will:
Call all types of voters -- not just those we know will vote like us.
Have meaningful conversations that focus on listening to voters’ concerns.
Gather insights to share with campaigns, so they can be responsive to voters’ needs and smarter with their messaging, targeting, and outreach.

Indivisible Chicago phone banks attract enthusiastic and committed volunteers from all across the country. We provide training, background resources, and one-on-one support throughout your shift. We’ll be using a state-of-the-art autodialer that connects you quickly with voters.
