Friday, September 20 - Wisconsin Wednesday & Friday Phone Banks / Election 2024: Youth Action Summit 9/22

Actions You Can Take

Action 1: Wisconsin Wednesday & Friday Phone Banks

Voter contact is the way we'll win in 2024, and phone banking is a big, big part of that. Working the phones gets us to distant corners of Wisconsin where we can have the most impact. And it reaches more voters per shift than any other method.

Indivisible Chicago phone banks attract volunteers from New York to California because we've designed them to be easy and satisfying for veterans and first-timers alike. We provide complete training, extensive background resources, one-on-one support, and a hardy, enthusiastic band of volunteers who will welcome you in and share their experience.

Sign up for Wisconsin Wednesday and Wisconsin Friday phone banks between now and the election!

Action 2: Election 2024: Youth Action Summit 9/22

Join Common Cause Illinois and She Votes Illinois for an interactive virtual event to empower students to become engaged and informed this upcoming election. This summit will feature panelists, including representatives from the Chicago Board of Elections, League of Women Voters Chicago, and MIKVA Challenge. Students will hear about critical issues such as voter registration, the role of Student Election Judges, challenges surrounding election-related misinformation and disinformation, and the importance of community support for election authorities.

Additionally, the summit will offer breakout sessions where students can choose to:

  • Receive training on combating election misinformation and disinformation.

  • Learn how to volunteer as a nonpartisan Election Protection volunteer at the polls assisting voters.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of election-related issues and participate meaningfully in civic life beyond the classroom.

The event is free and students do NOT need to be eligible to vote to participate.

When: Sunday, September 22, 2024, 2pm - 3:30pm CST

RSVP here!

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
