Thursday, April 9 - Stop the War Phone Bank TODAY / Tell State’s Attorney to Investigate ICE / Trans Allyship Learning Lab 4/13

ICA and Partner Action: Stop The War Phone Bank TODAY!

The United States and Israel launched airstrikes against Iran on February 28, a dangerous escalation that risks dragging us into another devastating, decades-long conflict. Donald Trump has since made apocalyptic threats of large-scale civilian devastation in Iran.

Trump’s illegal and violent war on Iran is escalating, and Congress has a choice to make. Both Republicans and Democrats must decide whether they’ll stand with their constituents in the majority of Americans who oppose this war, or support Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s violence regardless of the human and economic cost.

Join us in calling voters in Republican districts to ask them to pressure their reps to de-escalate Donald Trump from committing a catastrophic war crime. We must make clear to Trump and his party that the American people will not stand for another costly, senseless war in the Middle East that harms all of us, here and abroad.

ICA Partner Action: Tell State’s Attorney to Investigate ICE

Despite overwhelming evidence of criminal misconduct carried out by federal agents during the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement efforts known as “Operation Midway Blitz,” Cook County State’s Attorney Eileen O'Neill Burke’s office has taken no action to investigate or prosecute those alleged crimes.

👉 Please sign this petition supporting the appointment of a special prosecutor.

Also, tomorrow is another hearing before Judge Reddick at 9:30 a.m. Judge Reddick will set a date for oral arguments on the petition at that time. It would be great for as many people as possible to attend court.

👉 Attend the hearing on April 10 in Courtroom 101 at the George N. Leighton Criminal Courthouse (2650 S. California Ave.)

Indivisible Action: Trans Ally Learning Lab 4/13

Following the Solidarity in Action session on centering trans leadership, join us for an interactive, skills-based learning lab focused on strengthening how we practice accountable allyship and inclusive leadership in real time.

This session builds on the Solidarity in Action Speaker series session and moves beyond awareness and into action. Together, we will explore how power and exclusion show up in everyday movement spaces—and practice concrete ways to respond with clarity, accountability, and care.

👉 Join Centering Trans Leadership and Accountable Allyship Learning Lab on Monday, April 13 at 5:30 p.m. CT.
