Want to canvass but feeling a little nervous about knocking on strangers’ doors? Indivisible Chicago’s Yes You Canvass training is designed to turn nervous newbies into confident canvassers.
This virtual class walks you through what to expect, how to have one-on-one conversations with voters, and the practical tips you need to get out there and hit the doors. No experience necessary, and this is the last session of 2026!

ICA Chapter Action: Don't Boo...Vote! Ballot Prep 10/15
Voting shouldn’t be scary! Join Indivisible Greater West Loop for a fun, family-friendly evening to get ready for the 2026 Midterm Election. We’ll help you get familiar with the ballot, important voting dates and deadlines, and make a plan to vote.
Bring your mail-in ballot if you have one and fill it out in a supportive, low-pressure environment. We’ll also have resources on early voting and Election Day. Kids can join a Halloween-themed mock election, complete with voting booths, ballots, an “I Voted!” sticker, and an actual vote count! Plus: pizza, candy, crafts, music and Halloween fun.

Partner Action: Social Bank with Swing Left 10/8
Social media is a major part of how voters get information, and Swing Left is building a new way to volunteer online. Join their weekly Social Bank to help boost pro-democracy content on Instagram and TikTok and reach voters where they are.
You’ll learn the strategy behind the program, get tips for navigating the algorithms, and use Swing Left’s tools to help amplify campaign content. If you know your way around Instagram or TikTok, this is a chance to put those skills to work.
