ICA Action: Wisconsin Canvass 9/26
Join Indivisible Chicago knocking doors in Wisconsin. Winning back the House is crucial to halting the disastrous policies of Trump’s second term. So we’re focused on Wisconsin Congressional District 1 where Mitch Berman, a progressive Democrat, has a good shot at unseating a Republican incumbent with a Trump support score of 99% in 2025.
And we’ll also be helping build a Democratic majority in Wisconsin.
Don’t be lulled by headlines about Trump’s tanking popularity. We can win, but it’s going to take a strong ground game to build a progressive response to the current chaos. We need to reach voters, talk about what’s at stake and let them know how important their vote is.

We'll make the less than 90-minute drive from Chicago to our meetup location in Wisconsin (exact location coming soon). We’ll have a pre-canvass briefing once we get there, then split off into pairs to knock doors and talk with voters. We'll provide all the info and prep you'll need and will have carpools for anyone needing a ride.
Community Action: Staff Your Local Polling Place
Across the country, election offices are sounding the alarm: communities in more than 30 states are still short of the poll workers they need for the upcoming election.
And time is getting short. Application deadlines are approaching quickly in many locations. If you have considered serving, now is the time to act. IL is included in this need!
Election conspiracy theorists are ready to exploit any delay or confusion, twisting ordinary challenges into false claims that something has gone wrong. Fully staffed election operations help voting and ballot counting proceed efficiently, leaving less room for bad actors to sow distrust or challenge legitimate results.
