Come and join Indivisible Chicago talking to voters in the critical swing state of Michigan. We'll listen to voters, talk about our candidates and underline the importance of voting in this year's Midterms elections.
We'll make the 90-minute drive from Chicago to where we’re headed in Michigan. After a pre-canvass briefing, we'll split off into pairs to knock doors and talk with voters. We'll provide all the info and prep you'll need and will have carpools for anyone needing a ride.

Community Action: Reimagining Public Safety Town Hall 9/30
Join SAFE Illinois and the RIFL Act Coalition Wednesday, September 30 for a community discussion on solutions to reduce gun violence in Illinois.
Hear from community leaders and elected officials about the RIFL Act, community violence intervention and street outreach, community policing, and other approaches to reducing violence. A Q&A and networking session will follow.

Community Action: Fund the Chicago Legal Protection Fund
Every day, our immigrant neighbors in Chicago face a legal system stacked against them. The difference between staying with their families and being torn apart often comes down to one thing: having a lawyer.
Since 2017, the Legal Protection Fund (LPF) has connected community navigators with the legal expertise of the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC), giving Chicagoans trusted information and free legal representation when they need it most. Over the last nine years through LPF, NIJC has represented Chicago residents in over 1,700 cases and given more than 3,700 legal screenings to keep families together and communities intact.
As Chicago faces constant, abrupt shifts in immigration policy and mounting attacks on due process, this funding is a lifeline.
Right now, the 2027 city budget is being decided and your alderperson needs to hear from you.
