Community Action: Abolish ICE
Since Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) were established in 2003, the agencies have terrorized immigrant communities; conducted unconstitutional border checkpoints; torn apart families; denied immigrants their due process rights; and subjected detained immigrants to physical, sexual, and mental abuse.
ICE and CBP are now the best-funded law enforcement agencies in the country after an influx of billions in additional funding through the “One Big Beautiful Bill” and a follow-up reconciliation package granted them over $170 billion through fiscal year 2029 with essentially no guardrails or oversight.
That money is fueling a wave of escalating violence. After two decades and hundreds of billions in funding, it is clear that this lawless and violent agency cannot operate without terrorizing the communities it claims to serve.
👉 Congress must demand full, independent investigations into these killings and call for the abolition of ICE.
