Partner Action: Witness Slips TODAY for Responsibility in Firearm Legislation
All American corporations are liable for the harms caused by their products and services—except firearms manufacturers. Instead, the burden of firearm-related injuries is shouldered by wounded individuals, grieving families, businesses, and taxpayers, amounting to approximately $18.6 billion annually in Illinois. An unfair burden for the public to continue to bear year after year.
We deserve to be relieved from this overwhelming expense. The cost of firearm injury should be paid at the source: firearm manufacturers, whose products injure or kill ~6,713 Illinoisans a year. Passing The RIFL Act (HB3320) will establish the same standard of accountability for firearm manufacturers that all other industries are required to uphold in this country and state.
If passed, the RIFL Act will create a powerful incentive for firearm manufacturers to innovate safer products and engage in suicide and violence prevention.

Section I – If submitting as an individual, fill in "self" in the Representation field. If you are representing an organization, add the organization’s name again in Section II.
