Tuesday, March 31 - Say No to the Peoples Gas Rate Hike 4/1 / Rally for Trans Visibility 4/4 / Tell Your Reps: No Kings!

Community Action: Say No to the Peoples Gas Rate Hike 4/1

On April 1st, community members and advocates from across Chicago will gather at a rally to demand affordable energy and a transition toward clean alternatives.

The rally will bring together residents, organizers, and allies to speak out against rising gas bills and call for investments that support Chicago’s climate goals instead of locking the city into burning fossil fuels for decades to come. RSVP here!

👉 Join the rally on Wed. April 1, 5:30 PM at Daley Plaza

Partner Action: Rally for Trans Visibility 4/4

Visibility is power — and our community is showing up loud. Join us for the Rally for Trans Visibility as trans-led organizations and allies unite to center trans voices and demand a future where our communities are safe, seen, and celebrated. Together, we are demanding full access to healthcare, accurate legal documentation, safe and stable housing, food security, and the fundamental resources every person deserves.

We are standing in solidarity with our community in Kansas and across the country as we face coordinated attacks on our rights — including devastating rollbacks in access to gender-affirming care for minors. Our youth deserve protection, affirmation, and the freedom to thrive — not political interference in their healthcare.

This rally is a call to action: trans rights are human rights. Whether you’re trans, an ally, or still learning — your presence matters. Be part of the growing coalition fighting for safety, dignity, and liberation for all trans people.

👉 Join the Rally for Trans Visibility on Saturday, April 4, 1 – 4pm at Federal Plaza (100 S Dearborn St.)

Community Action: Tell Your Reps - No Kings!

Since Inauguration Day, Trump has consistently upended our constitutional separation of powers to unilaterally control all branches of our government; impose his political agenda on the entire U.S. population; and extort or prosecute anyone who challenges him, his power, or his financial interests.

It is beyond unacceptable that Congress has ceded their constitutional role to allow this fascist attack on our democracy to continue.

👉 Demand your representatives do their job as a member of a co-equal branch of government and stop Trump’s dictatorial rule.

Script: Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from Chicago.

I’m calling to express my outrage over the Trump’s ongoing abuses of power and violent authoritarianism. I ask that [NAME]…

[CHOOSE 1-3 options]:

  • forcefully condemn Trump's continual abuse of power to personally enrich himself and his family, (and)

  • conduct investigations into Trump’s ongoing use of the White House to solicit bribes from private companies, billionaires, and foreign countries, (and)

  • support articles of impeachment and move to convict and remove Trump for his repeated defiance of the law, (and)

  • pledge to investigate and prosecute any government official who has participated in this administration’s illegal actions.

If [NAME] will not fulfill their duty as a member of a co-equal branch of government and stop this authoritarian takeover, I will use my power as a voter to support a representative who will.
