Indivisible Action: What’s Next After No Kings 3?
Saturday's No Kings protests were the largest in US history, with over 8 million people across all 50 states and the globe demonstrating against the current regime. This historic turnout included over a million new participants, signaling a powerful shift toward sustained resistance.
To maintain this momentum, the coalition is hosting a Mass Call this Tuesday at 7 pm CT to discuss two major next steps:
Nationwide Community Meetings: Launching local organizing efforts focused on ICE monitoring, election protection, and noncooperation.
May Day Economic Disruption: Preparing for a national day of "no school, no work, no shopping" to challenge the oligarchs enabling this administration.
👉 Join Tuesday’s call to help turn this record-breaking mobilization into lasting political power.

Community Action: CPD Must Investigate ICE Crimes
Based on the Chicago Police Department’s response to FOIA requests, it appears as though CPD has not investigated any of the crimes committed by ICE and BP during last year's Midway Blitz – not even Border Patrol Agent Charles Exum’s shooting of Marimar Martinez last October.
CPD Superintendent Snelling has remained silent and has not been held to account for his failure to act. State’s Attorney Burke also has taken no action, based on the dubious claim that only CPD can investigate ICE’s crimes.
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, Supt. Snelling will appear before the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability – which has oversight authority over CPD – to discuss CPD’s rules for interacting with federal immigration agents.
👉 Take advantage of this opportunity to tell the CPD you expect them to protect Chicagoans!
Attend the April 2, 2026 hearing to show that we hold Supt. Snelling and the CPD accountable for investigating federal agents’ crimes against Chicago residents.
Where: Kelly High School, 4136 S. California Ave.
When: April 2, 2026 @ 6:30 p.m.Submit questions or comments to the Commission by March 30, 2026, to be read into the record at the meeting, by clicking here.
Suggested questions:
Has CPD investigated Charles Exum’s October 4, 2025 shooting of Marimar Martinez? If not, why not?
How many investigations has CPD conducted into potential crimes committed by federal immigration agents?
Mayor Johnson’s Feb. 2nd Executive Order obligated CPD to issue guidance, within 30 days, on CPD’s protocol around on-the-scene interactions with immigration agents AND investigations of possible criminal activities as reported by the public. The Mayor recently said this guidance is not necessary because everything in the EO is covered by CPD’s existing policies. What existing CPD policy or directive states that a CPD Incident Commander will attempt to verify the name and badge number of the on-scene federal supervisory officer?
What existing CPD policy or directive states that if a CPD member receives information from the public regarding conduct by federal agents that constitutes apparent violations of state or local law, the member must notify their supervisor who will ensure that a report is completed? And what existing CPD policy or directive states that an investigation must commence within a specific period of time?
Suggested comment: Minnesota is investigating and is willing to prosecute federal agents who committed crimes there. CPD’s failure to investigate the crimes committed during and since last year’s Midway Blitz is unacceptable. ICE threatened Chicago residents with guns, assaulted them, threw tear gas at them, trespassed on private property and, in the case of Marimar Martinez, rammed her car and shot her five times as she tried to drive away. It is CPD’s job to investigate violations of Illinois law – even when the perpetrator is a federal agent and even when they do not cooperate. If CPD continues to give special treatment to federal agents, and permits them to violate Illinois criminal law, it will embolden federal agents to commit violent acts against Chicago residents. The Chicago Police Department must investigates these crimes.

ICA Action: Canvass to Win the WI Supreme Court Saturday
The April 7 election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court could determine the future of fair maps, abortion rights, and democracy in this critical swing state.
A win by Democrat-endorsed candidate Chris Taylor would strengthen the court’s pro-democracy majority — helping protect voting rights and push back against MAGA extremism at the state level.
That’s why we’re heading to Kenosha to knock doors and talk directly with voters.
We’re partnering with the Working Families Party of Wisconsin for this critical race. Nationally, WFP is working closely with Indivisible to organize resistance to Trump and build long-term power for working people.
We're heading to Kenosha for the LAST canvass on Saturday, April 4 (carpools available). New to canvassing? We’ve got you. We’ll send background materials ahead of time, pair newcomers with experienced volunteers, and brief you so you feel confident talking to voters.
