ICA and Partner Action: Chicago May Day Actions TOMORROW!

TOMORROW is May Day, when a broad coalition of organizations across Chicago is mobilizing for actions focused on workers’ rights, immigrant justice, and defending the rule of law. This is a coordinated call to show up across multiple actions on May 1 as communities push back against attacks on labor, immigration, and democratic institutions.

We are standing in solidarity with workers and immigrants, and demanding an end to policies that prioritize corporate profit over people. From economic justice to legal accountability, May Day is a day to take collective action across movements.

Join the Indivisible Chicago Alliance in showing up for the following actions:

👉 Chicago May Day Rally & March: Friday, May 1 at 1:00 PM
📍 Union Park (1501 W Randolph St)
A citywide rally and march bringing together workers, immigrants, and community members to demand economic justice and dignity for all.

👉 No to ICE Profiteers Rally: Friday, May 1 at 10:00 AM
📍 Highlands REIT Headquarters, 1 S. Dearborn
Join ARISE Chicago, Indivisible Chicago, and Evanston Interfaith Clergy and Leaders for a rally calling out corporate profiteering from immigration detention and demanding an end to the monetization of incarceration.

👉 Chicago Stands for the Rule of Law: Friday, May 1 at 11:30 AM
📍 Federal Plaza (210 S Dearborn St)
Join Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Indivisible Chicago, law professionals, and community members to reaffirm the rule of law, including oath re-administration and public commitment to justice and democracy.

Community Action: Protect Trans Students Rights

The anti-equality controlled U.S. House of Representatives can’t get over their obsession with attacking trans kids. This week, they are voting on a bill that would ban schools across the country from teaching about gender identity, using students’ correct names and pronouns, having books with trans characters – or even acknowledge the existence of trans people.

This isn’t policy. It’s cruelty.

👉 Tell your Representative to vote NO on this horrendous MAGA bill.
