Indivisible Action: No More Funding for ICE/CPD

Wednesday night Republicans advanced a budget resolution that could result in ICE and Border Patrol getting an additional $140 billion to fund their warrantless arrests, militarized deployments, and concentration camps. Thatโ€™s on top of the $170 billion Republicans pumped into Trumpโ€™s mass deportation machine in last yearโ€™s Big Ugly Bill.

And just like with the Big Ugly Bill, they're using the reconciliation process to try to ram this funding through without needing a single Democratic vote.

The bill Republicans are crafting is horrendous, but it could also be a huge political liability -- if we make it one. While Americans across the country are struggling to afford healthcare, housing, and food, Republicans are working overtime to shovel billions of dollars into unaccountable agencies that already have budgets bigger than small armies.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The bill still has a few more hurdles to clear, but we need tell Democrats to fiercely oppose the GOP effort to shovel billions more dollars to ICE and Border Patrol!
