If the Illinois General Assembly doesn't secure funding for transit by Saturday, May 31st, CTA, Pace, and Metra will be forced to start planning 40% service cuts – absolutely decimating public transit for the entire Chicago region. This is why we're demanding state legislators deliver $1.5 billion to not only save public transit, but to ensure it can deliver the service that Chicagoans deserve. Our legislators cannot continue to kick the can down the road – NOW is the time for them to step up and deliver.

ICA Action: Indivisible Downtown Meeting 6/2
Join us for the Indivisible Downtown Chapter Monthly Meeting on Monday, June 2 at Half Sour, located at 755 S. Clark St!
We'll kick things off at 6:00 PM with refreshments, socializing, and postcard writing to support Abigail Spanberger’s campaign for Governor of Virginia in the November 2025 election.
The official meeting runs from 6:30 to 8:00 PM and will feature a special presentation by Caroline Schoenberger, an immigration attorney and founder of the Schoenberger Public Interest Law Foundation.Caroline will provide critical updates on current U.S. immigration practices and discuss the real-world impact of the proposed mass deportation agenda. She brings deep experience, including 15 years as Supervisory Attorney at the Chicago Legal Clinic’s Pilsen Office.

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. Indivisible Chicago and our partner organizations are hosting a rally and march in downtown Chicago on Saturday, June 14 as we come together to say NO KINGS!
On Flag Day, June 14, while Trump stages a made-for-TV birthday spectacle in D.C., we’ll show the country what real patriotism, people power, and democracy look like. Save the date—no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
