Wednesday, December 3 - Stop Funding Billionaires Webinar 12/8 / Stop the Risky Line 5 Drilling Plan / What’s the Plan? Discussion with Indivisible’s Co-Founders 12/4
Partner Action: Partner Action: Stop Funding Billionaires Webinar 12/8
Join the May Day Coalition for a webinar on how public pension funds and university endowments are investing billions in companies led by ultra-wealthy figures like Elon Musk and Peter Thiel — companies whose business practices undermine workers, harm communities, and help fuel harmful enforcement systems. This conversation will break down how these investments work, why they matter, and how pension holders and community members can push for change.
Speakers will highlight real examples of wins — like pension fund resolutions, climate-focused investment shifts, and campaigns that have successfully redirected public money toward more just and sustainable priorities.
👉 Join the webinar on Monday, December 8 at 2pm to learn how you can help strengthen the movement for responsible, community-aligned pension investments.

Partner Action: Stop the Risky Line 5 Drilling Plan
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers just announced a new review for the Line 5 oil pipeline project — this time focused on a risky drilling plan under the Straits of Mackinac, the narrow waterway where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron meet.
For years, the government said it would only review a tunnel proposal. Now they’re suddenly shifting to a new drilling plan instead — a move many experts call a bait-and-switch.
The company behind Line 5, Enbridge, has a history of drilling accidents and spills. If something goes wrong under the Straits, oil could spread quickly into two Great Lakes at once. And Michigan taxpayers — not the company — would be left with the damage.
👉 Submit a public comment by Thursday, December 5. Tell the Army Corps you oppose this drilling plan under the Great Lakes.

Indivisible Action: What’s the Plan? Discussion with Indivisible’s Co-Founders 12/4
The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back.
The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back.
Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan.
👉 Join the weekly call Thursdays at 2 p.m. CT.
