Partner Action: Tell EPA: Don't Rollback Wetland and Waterway Protections
EPA is proposing to narrow which waters are protected under the Clean Water Act, putting wetlands, streams, and other critical waterways at risk. This proposal is part of the Trump administration's ongoing effort to undermine the Clean Water Act and give polluting industries more freedom to pollute, exploit, and destroy our waterways and wetlands.
For decades, the Clean Water Act has restored rivers and lakes across the country and kept pollution out of the water people depend on. Rolling back these protections now would reverse that progress and leave more waterways vulnerable to contamination and flooding.
People overwhelmingly support strong clean water protections. EPA should protect the waters that keep our communities healthy, not take those protections away.
Tell EPA to withdraw this proposal and keep vital clean water safeguards in place.
