ICA Action: Indivisible Postcard Parties 6/2 & 6/16
Hello Friends! It's time to write postcards to get out the vote for the midterms!
On June 2nd and June 16th at 6 PM, we'll be coming together to save democracy by writing postcards to voters in Michigan to get out the vote in the November election. We will provide the postcards, the addresses, and the script. You provide the stamps for the postcards you write or donate!
Why write postcards to Michigan? This is a state race, but one with national implications.
We will be reminding voters how important it is to vote in this election. In Michigan the Senate, Governor, Secretary of State, and Attorney General. are up for election in the midterms. These need to remain in the hands of Democrats to protect our democracy!
👉 So, come join us at Wild Goose in Lincoln Square. Remember to bring postcard stamps or donations to cover stamps!
Community Action: Health is Primary Candlelight Vigil 6/5
Morten Group is proud to be the convener of the Chicagoland activation of Seven Days in June: HEALTH IS PRIMARY.
June 1–7, 2026, organizations across our region will host town halls, forums, rallies, and community events, demanding that every 2026 candidate commit to protecting healthcare access, biomedical research, and public health. The cuts already passed by Congress will hit our communities hard. That window before the election is our opportunity.
👉 On Friday, June 5 at sunset, join us for a candlelight vigil at the AIDS Garden to honor those we've lost and stand for those still fighting.

Community Action: Volunteer Poll Observers for the August 11 WI Primary
The road ahead to the midterms and November elections will require all of us. As we prepare for the critical elections ahead, Wisconsin has an opportunity to lead by showing what it looks like to stand up for democracy when it matters most. WisDems Voter Protection have incredible volunteer opportunities and events where you can help protect the vote.

Poll Observers, who do not need to be WI residents, are the eyes and the ears of our team on the ground on Election Day and are the last line of defense against instances of voter suppression and a crucial resource for voters. You will receive training and an assigned location that works for you!
