Tuesday, June 23 - Write Postcards to Get Out the Vote! / Solidarity with Delaney Hall Hunger Strikers / How We Win the Midterms Call TONIGHT

ICA Action: Indivisible Postcard Parties 6/2 & 6/16

So far, amazing volunteers across the country have signed up to write more than 6 million postcards to rally Democrats to vote in the November elections. The goal is 15 million postcards—and if we're going to flip the House and Senate, it's going to take all of us.

Indivisible Chicago Alliance has postcards from Postcards to Swing States available for pickup in Lakeview and Lincoln Square. This campaign targets Michigan voters, where several crucial races—including an open U.S. Senate seat, statewide offices, and control of the state legislature—will help determine the future of the state and the country. We provide the postcards, voter addresses, and scripts; you provide stamps and mail your postcards on October 14.

👉 Contact Pat Graham at pat@indivisiblechicago.com to pick up postcards or organize a postcard-writing party with friends, family, or your chapter

👉 Not in the city? Request packs of postcards for Michigan, Wisconsin, or Georgia voters and pick them up at locations in Evanston, Deerfield, Buffalo Grove, or Rogers Park.

Indivisible Action: Solidarity with Delaney Hall Hunger Strikers

Massive federal funding has expanded ICE and Border Patrol detention operations nationwide, with Republicans in Congress now pushing billions more to grow the system further. Reports from facilities like Delaney Hall in Newark, NJ describe contaminated food, unsafe water, lack of medical care, and escalating crisis conditions, including escapes, a reported death, and ongoing hunger strikes demanding humane treatment.

Attempts at congressional oversight have been blocked, raising serious concerns about transparency and accountability. Congress must act now to investigate conditions in detention facilities and stop further expansion of the detention system.

👉 Email your Members of Congress to demand access to detention facilities, investigate conditions, and oppose any additional funding for ICE or Border Patrol.
