Indivisible Action: Tell Congress to Reject Warrantless AI Mass Surveillance

Congress is considering whether to reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), a surveillance authority originally enacted after 9/11 that has long sparked debate over privacy and civil liberties. Advocates are urging lawmakers to oppose reauthorization unless significant reforms are included to strengthen protections against warrantless surveillance and government collection of personal data.

As advances in AI make it easier to collect, analyze, and store massive amounts of information, many are calling for stronger guardrails to protect privacy, free speech, and constitutional rights before Congress moves forward.

👉 Call your Senator and Representative using Indivisible's call tools, and urge them to oppose FISA reauthorization without meaningful reforms.

👉 Follow up with an email to your Members of Congress calling for stronger privacy protections and limits on warrantless surveillance.

Indivisible Action: What’s the Plan? Discussion with Indivisible’s Co-Founders TOMORROW

The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back.

The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back.

Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan.

This week, they’ll be joined by Corey Dukes of Protect Democracy for a conversation about threats to our democratic institutions, what they mean for the midterms, and what local groups can do to respond.

👉  Join the weekly call Thursdays at 2 p.m. CT.
