Indivisible Action: Reject Trump-Netanyahu Military Partnership
Every year, Congress passes the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a massive defense bill considered a โmust-passโ piece of legislation. Because it moves every year, lawmakers frequently try to slip in other policies that could not pass on their own. And unfortunately, even under Trump, many Democrats annually rubber-stamp this bill.
Trump and Netanyahu have worked closely over the past year and a half, partnering to commit devastating war crimes across the Middle East. Now, Congress is being asked to cement even deeper military cooperation and coordination with the Israeli government into US law.
At a time when the Israeli government continues its genocide in Gaza and military escalations across the region with the political and financial backing of our own government, Congress should not be making integration with Israel's military a permanent feature of US defense policy or locking future administrations into even closer cooperation.
This year's NDAA would expand military cooperation between the United States and Israel through joint weapons development, intelligence sharing, defense technology partnerships, and other forms of military coordination, all while reducing transparency and public oversight.

Community Action: Healthcare for All 7/30
61 years ago, Medicare and Medicaid were signed into law, a landmark promise that every American deserves access to care. Today, that promise is under attack.
Washington is coming after Medicare and Medicaid with cuts that will devastate our communities. Corporate greed is driving up costs and gutting the care Illinois families depend on. Insurance deductibles have skyrocketed by more than 50% over the last decade and nearly 20 million people are drowning in medical debt.
On July 30th, the anniversary of that historic signing, Chicagoans are joining a statewide day of action to defend what we've won and demand more. Join patients, community members, and elected champions as we rally together for the real reform Illinois families deserve.
๐ Join the event on Thursday, July 30 from 10 โ 11am at Federal Plaza (100 S Dearborn St).

Indivisible Action: Phone Bank for MI Candidates 7/30
Join Indivisible and National Nurses United as we make calls into Michigan to get voters ready for the upcoming primary election on August 4th and share why weโre supporting Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate, William Lawrence in Michigan's 7th House District, and Donavan McKinney in Michigan's 13th House District!
Weโll be telling voters all about these exciting candidates and why they should be voting to send Abdul, William, and Donavan to represent them. Help make calls to voters in Michigan, and let's rally to elect real fighters for families and defenders of democracy at the federal level!
๐ Join the phone bank on Thursday, July 30 and Monday, August 3.
