Friday, July 31 - The National March into Marquette Park 8/1 / Trans Rights Election Webinar 8/5 / ProtestPalooza 8/4

ICA Partner Action: The National March into Marquette Park 8/1

On Saturday, August 1, Indivisible Chicago is proud to join a historic coalition of more than 60 organizations and thousands of people from across the country to gather in Chicago for A National March into Marquette Park.

Sixty years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Chicago Freedom Movement marched into Marquette Park to confront segregation, redlining, and organized racial violence. On Saturday, we will be marching together again into Marquette Park and continue the unfinished work of building a more just, inclusive, and democratic future.

Saturdayโ€™s march honors the legacy of the Chicago Freedom Movement while recognizing that its work remains unfinished. As attacks on our freedoms continue, it is more important than ever to stand together, build community, and show that we will not back down in the fights for the protection of voting rights, justice for immigrant and marginalized communities, economic opportunity, and a democracy where everyone is treated with dignity.
